Love Language, by Thomas D. Jones2/10/2023 I go to work each day to teach
a way to speak, to listen, and to read the signs and symbols of a world where people young and old alike struggle with a language of their own. Like them, I often find myself alone in my life where love’s a void without touch from man or woman, the language never tried nor true, its practice never acted out on stage. It’s difficult to read the signs, no doubt, that speak of bonds between two souls because I never took a course in passion, never found the time to work for love, but stayed at home and studied solitude. And now the mass of stars and planets spin round and round with no consolation. The many constellations grow no love nor give the hungry soul satisfaction. Thus life continues in an empty fashion. Death will do its part to keep a wall between the fate of one man at a table and the person soon to be his partner: man or woman, it makes no difference when the body turns to dust and ashes.
